Renthal R-Works Fatbar36 is for those who want the very best only!
R-Works Fatbar36 is the ultimate lightweight MX handlebar.
By using Renthal's 36Tech ™ handlebar and Zarilium ™ material to provide a high strength and the lowest possible weight, Renthal has created R-Works Fatbar36 which is 36% lighter than their standard 28-mm-diameter Fatbar handlebar.
How does R-Works Fatbar36 differ from regular Fatbar?
The strength is the same as Renthal's existing Fatbar. They have used 36Tech ™ and Zarilium ™ to maintain strength while reducing weight. This means that in the event of a crash, Fatbar36 will respond in the same way as their current Fatbar28.
Since the handlebar is 36mm at the fixing point, regular 22mm or 28mm handlebar brackets won't fit. Instead Renthal has developed new and better brackets specifically for R-Works Fatbar36.
What is Zarilium ™?
Zarilium ™ is a new aluminum alloy exclusive to Renthal. This new alloy has 20% higher tensile strength than Renthal's 7010T6 aluminum alloy, while having the same stretching properties. This additional strength has allowed Renthal to achieve maximum weight loss.
Why does weight matter so much to Renthal?
Every time you accelerate, brake, curve or jump, you work against the wheel. By reducing the weight, you improve performance in all these areas which in turn leads to improved lap times. This weight loss is of special importance as it reduces the weight in the upper part of the bike which is the furthest point from the center of gravity. This weight loss (anywhere from 220 - 240 g depending on the curve) is also a very cost-effective way for you to save the same amount of weight as you would when buying a titanium bolt package.
R-Works Fatbar36 930 is the same as Fatbar 604 and Twinwall 997
R-Works Fatbar36 931 is the same as Fatbar 603 and Twinwall 998
