During the development of this design, TOBE nicknamed this overall "T-Rex" and they came up with this bomb-proof construction that eventually became their most durable design to date. They started with a 3-layer shell - consisting of a tough outer layer, a waterproof and breathable membrane and an inner lining - and then reinforced the areas most prone to wear-and-tear with Armortex Kevlar®, reinforced the seams and added double seams. The Rex is designed to handle anything and everything so don't hold back, hit it with your best shot!
